Tefta Tashko-Koço (pronounced[tɛfˈtataʃˈkɔkɔtˈʃɔ]; 2 November 1910 – 22 December 1947) was an Albanian singer and soprano.[1][2] She was a leading figure in the regional music industry and is considered one of the most influential personalities of the 20th century in the Albanian-speaking world.
The first recordings, however, of urban art song came as early as , with the orchestral sounds of Tefta Tashko-Koço.
