          Owen Conflenti Biography

          Owen Conflenti is an American journalist who works as a weekday morning news anchor for KPRC’s Local 2 News. He anchors from 4.30 a.m. to 6 a.m. On August 15, 2005, Conflenti joined the station’s staff.

          He was born in Pittsburgh and relocated to New York City with his family as a child.

          Owen graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree.

          5. He attended Emerson College in 1994 and graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and audio production.

          Owen began his career as a producer and host at Sky Radio in 2000 and 2001, shortly after finishing his degree.

          He subsequently moved to WNCT-TV, a CBS station in Greenville, North Carolina, where he worked from June 2002 to August 2005 as a reporter and anchor. Owen also worked as a drone operator and freelance videographer from May 2013 to January 2020.
